Bring the whole family for an immersive history experience at the new Woodlawn Manor Visitor Center. Visit the stone barn exhibits where echoes of the past tell the story of a bustling farm, its community, and those who made a bold bid for freedom on the Underground Railroad. Then take a guided hike on the Underground Railroad Experience Trail, which commemorates the involvement of Montgomery County residents in the Underground Railroad and celebrates the Quaker heritage and traditions of Sandy Spring.

The beer, wine and spirits industry is rapidly growing in Montgomery County. Waredaca is a Montgomery County farm brewery with beers made from barley and hops grown on their farm. Brookeville Beer Farm is a brewery, farm, and tasting room in historic Brookeville, Maryland. Denizens Brewing Co. has a two-level taproom, 200 seat dog-friendly beer garden, and production brewery.

Clarksburg Premium Outlets will be the first outlet center in Montgomery County, opening in Fall 2016! Be prepared to shop til you drop at your favorite stores like Armani Outlet, Coach, Nike Factory Store, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, Tory Burch, Under Armour, and more.
